INTERNET SERVICE FILTERING APPARATUS USING MATV

PURPOSE: An internet service filtering apparatus using a MATV(Master Antenna Television Network) is provided to provide an internet service capable of data communication of good quality using the prior MATV without additional installation work. CONSTITUTION: The filtering apparatus is comprised between a HFC(Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) network and a CMTS(Cable Modem Termination System)(20) using a MATV cabled in a compound building, a band pass filter(115) receives an upward signal from the HFC network and removes noise included in the upward signal during a transmission process to the HFC network from an internet terminal. An amplifier(110b) is connected to a rear part of the band pass filter and amplifies a level of the filtered upward signal to recover the level of the upward signal attenuated through the band pass filter to its original level.
