PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing cast cavity, by which the cast cavity can be repaired more accurately with smaller process steps. SOLUTION: In the method for repairing the cast cavity, following process condition and process temperature are combined to achieve repairing the cast cavity. As for the process condition, material around the cast cavities 55 on a peripheral surface is plastically fluidized in the circumferential and axial directions, by moving a tool 10 having a cutting face 13 and an end cutting face 17 in the circumferential and axial directions relative to the peripheral surface 52 of a mold 50. In relation to the process temperature, a misty state medium having lubricating and small cooling properties is supplied between the peripheral surface 52, the cutting face 13 and the end cutting face 17.
