PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die device of a valve gate type which can securely operate a valve pin and easily correspond to a change of a cavity shape. SOLUTION: A valve device 13 is provided with a valve body 21, a valve pin 46, which is coaxial with a gate 12 and built in a valve body 21 and opens/ closes the gate 12 by the linear movement, and a drive unit driving the valve pin 46. The drive unit is constituted of a ring-shaped fluid pressure cylinder unit 51 circling the fixed end of the valve body 21. A fixed die 1 is provided with assembling holes 22, 23, 15 for assembling the valve device 13. The valve device 13 is assembled in the assembling holes. The assembling hole 23 for a fixed-side holding plate 7 is provided with an engagement holding part 105 which determines the engagement position enabling a ring body 101 of the valve device 13 to be attached and detached. If the shape of a cavity 3 is changed, it is required to exchange the fixed-side holding plate 7 and a fixed- side die plate 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
