<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin sheet, and a liquid cell substrate, a substrate for electroluminescence display, a substrate for solar cells using the resin sheet, which resin sheet is thin and light, and has excellent mechanical strength, gas barrier property, heat resistance, and makes the cell gaps of liquid crystal cells uniform, and can obtain an excellent display quality without casing color shade, uneven display, etc., and has surface roughness of small center line average height. <P>SOLUTION: The resin sheet is composed of at least a hard coating layer and a base material layer. The outermost base material layer has the surface roughness in center line average height not larger than 20 nm. The resin sheet can be manufactured by the following procedures. The easily peelable resin sheet formed on a supporting body is coated with epoxy resin coating liquid. Then, the coating layer is hardened by heat hardening under the following conditions: line speed is 0.1 to 1.0 m/min, temperature is 200 to 240 °C.
