Examples of II are glycidyl esters of tetra- or hexa-hydrophthalic acids, 3,4 - epoxy - cyclohexylmethyl- 31,41 - epoxycyclohexane carboxylate, 3,4- epoxyhexahydrobenzal - 31,41 - epoxycyclohexane - 11,11 - dimethanol, 1,11 - methylenebis - (3 - glycidyl - 5,5 - dimethylhydantoin), N(1),N(3) - diglycidyl - 5,5 - dimethylhydantoin, and the diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A. The adducts may be cured by conventional epoxy resin curing agents, Uses.-High tensile strength mouldings, powder coatings, laminates.
