PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective sound output device in which various kinds of effective sounds outputted from an output part are sharply transmitted to a player and damage to the output part is prevented by preventing a foreign material from being passed in from the outside. SOLUTION: The effective sound output device is provided with the output part for outputting the effective sounds, a frame 25a surrounding the outer peripheral edge of the output part, and a cover 30 positioned between the frame 25a and a mounting part 22 in a game machine. The cover 30 is composed of at least first and second cover members 31 and 33 longitudinally overlapped in front of the output part, and a flange 32b is formed at the outer peripheral edge of the first cover member 31 arranged most proximately to the output part. Therefore, when the cover 30 is positioned between the frame 25a and the mounting part 22, the first cover member 31 is prevented from being moved to the side of the output part by abutting the flange 32b to the frame 25a.
