PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably perform the control according to the biological conditions of a user by directly detecting the status of the user. SOLUTION: This mat-like apparatus like an air mat includes a mat body 1 having a plurality of split air bags 4... arranged side by side, a mat cover 2 placed on the mat body 1, and a control part C connected with the plurality of air bags 4... through air tubes 5... to an air pump 7 for controlling the supply of air from the air pump 7b. The mat cover 2 is provided with a plurality of sensors 9... detecting the condition of the user, which are disposed in a matrix. The sensors 9 are connected by a sewn wiring 10 of a conductor sewn in the mat cover 2 to thereby form a signal transmission path (b) for outputting a sensor signal detecting the condition of the user to the outside.
