PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a school satchel for giving good feeling in use without feeling heavy by preventing a shoulder belt from being shifted from the shoulder due to the weight of the school satchel, and bringing a back applied part of the school satchel into close contact with a user's back so that the center of gravity of the school satchel is not separated from the back. SOLUTION: A pair of shoulder belts 1 having elastic members 5 held rather closer to the fitting part are attached to fittings 4 mounted on the upper part of the back applied part 3 of the school satchel body 2 with the fitting part of the shoulder belt 1 directed upward from the school satchel body 2. The paired shoulder belts 1 having the elastic members 5 held rather closer to the fitting part are attached to the upper end parts of a pair of right and left connectors 7 of the fittings 4 mounted on the upper part of the back applied part 3 of the school satchel body 2 with the fitting part of the shoulder belt 1 directed upward from the school satchel body 2.
