PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in a conventional automatic rice cooker having storages for wash-free rice and water that rice is unevenly supplied to the inner part of the rice cooker since the rice cooker is exclusive for wash-free rice and performs no stirring in rice washing, which causes an uneven boiling; the adhesion of steam generated in rice cooking to a body inner part causes molding or forms a generation source of abnormal odor or a breeding ground for an insect such as black beetle; and the counter flow of the steam to feed pipes of rice or water leads to the contamination of the pipe or the deterioration of the stored rice. SOLUTION: When supplying rice and water, the inner pan of the rice cooker is oscillated, or the feed pipes are moved, or water is collided to the supplied rice to disperse the rice, whereby the uneven supply of rice is eliminated. The feed pipes of rice and water are isolated from a rice cooker setting part, whereby the counterflow of the steam in rice cooking is prevented. The generation of steam in rice cooking is suppressed, or the steam is forcedly discharged, whereby the adhesion of the steam to the body inner part is suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
