PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment improving device for storage body capable of enhancing air circulating efficiency and suppressing air to a proper wind velocity. SOLUTION: This device has an air duct 24 consisting of an air supplying passage 26 and an air intake passage 28 and an air purifying means 30 for purifying the air sucked from the intake passage 28. The air duct 24 is extended horizontally and divided to the air supplying passage 26 and the intake passage 28 by an air shielding plate 32. The air supplying passage 26 has a plurality of horizontally arranged air ports 36, and the intake passage 28 has a plurality of horizontally arranged intake ports 38. The air supplied from the air ports 36 and circulated around the storage body 10 is sucked from the intake ports 38, purified by the air purifying means 30, and supplied from the air ports 36. The air duct is integrated to a shelf plate 18 or a top plate 16. The flow of the air discharged horizontally from the air port 36 is bent downward by the frame of the shelf plate 18 or top plate 16.
