PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the characteristics of a power electric metallized film capacitor having a large capacity in environment-proof tests as high-temperature, high-moisture, and thermal-shock tests. SOLUTION: The metallized film capacitor is provided with resin filled into the capacitor case for integrating the capacitor element wherein the resin filled into its capacitor case has a two-layer structure comprising an epoxy resin layer and an urethane resin layer. By this setup excellent moisture resistance and breakdown-voltage property are obtained and the external-appearance relating to resin cracks, etc., caused in the environment-proof tests is improved.
