PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furring strip for panel installation, which make dirt hard to remain between the strip and panels. SOLUTION: As a panel installation groove 11 is provided at a curved surface extending outward from the furring strip 1, the panel 2 installed in the groove 11 can contact with the furring strip at a far smaller area than when the furring strip 1 is flat, thus reducing the volume of dirt remaining between the panel 2 and the furring strip 1. Accordingly, dirt left on the area where the furring strip and the panel contact be comes less conspicuous, when seen from the panel side even if the panel is transparent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
