<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable detection result with simple constitution and with excellent detection sensitivity, as to whether an IC card is present. <P>SOLUTION: Magnetic differential type entrance sensor 10 for sensing whether an IC card 3 is inserted into a device from a card insertion slot 2 by sensing the contact terminal section 3b of the IC card arranged at an appropriate position at the upstream side other than the read/write position in the card insertion direction enables stable sensing whether the IC card is present or not, regardless of the ambient temperature fluctuation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
