An attachment device for the releasable attachment of implements, equipment and the like to a vehicle, especially an ATV. The adjustment device includes a pair of mount arms (22, 23) which have a mounting plate (26) at one end. The mounting plate (26) is mountable to an end plate (12) so that the spacing between the mount arms (22, 23) can be adjusted to suit the part of the vehicle e.g. a carrier to which the attachment device is to be mounted. Each mount arm (22, 23) has a plurality of openings (25) with selected ones of which can be fastened a saddle fastening of the distal end of the mount arm to the vehicle.
