The cap includes a number of interchangeable, separable elements such as a skull cap , a sun visor and a headband. The elements may be made in different colors or materials for different seasons, e.g. to enable a winter hat to be used with a summer visor. The cap can be used as a baseball type cap using all the separable elements that can be press-studded together, a skull cap without the sun visor, a sun visor without the skull cap, or a headband with neither the skull cap nor the visor.
