PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower frame for a sliding door used for an access in which a sliding door is installed, low in cost, hard to be scratched on a surface, and replaceable if scratched. SOLUTION: This lower frame is formed of the combination of a wooden frame body 1 with a resin cover material 4. A fitting groove 3 and a slit groove 11 are formed in the upper surface 2 of the frame body 1. A projected part 5 downward is formed on the cover material 4 covering the upper surface 2 of the frame body 1, the guide groove 6 is formed on the upper side of the projected part 5, and a fixed piece 7 is extended on the lower side of an upper side piece 10. The projected part 5 is fitted to the fitting groove 3 of the frame body, and a lower rail is fitted to the guide groove 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
