PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized disk drive by properly arranging respective constituting parts. SOLUTION: A belt 60 is spanned between the pulley 58 of a chuck pedestal 14 arranged on the upper surface side of the bottom plate of a box-shaped frame 10 and the motor pulley 114 of a motor 62. Driving force of the motor 62 is transmitted to the pulley 58 via the belt 60 to rotate and drive the disk. The belt 60 is housed in the box-shaped frame 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
