PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component having a small dimensional change caused by embironmental changes. SOLUTION: This optical component has a coefficient of linear expansion of 2.2×10<SP>-5</SP>/°C or below at a temperature from -20 to 80°C in three-dimensional directions (X-, Y- and Z-axis directions). This optical component is composed of a composition comprising a thermoplastic resin of≥20 and <50 vol.%, an inorganic filler of >50 and≤80 vol.% and a fibrous filler of 0-25 vol.%. It is also possible to constitute it with a stainless steel alloy or a meta composition for die casting.
