A roll dispensing container preferably of plastics material comprises a cylindrical casing 10 which is adapted to enclose a roll of sheet material wound upon a tube shaped core and which has diametrically opposed openings 14, at least one of the openings being a symmetrical T-shape, triangular shape or circular-sector shape. The container is provided with end caps 12 which are either screwed to the casing, or held on the casing by friction or integral with the casing. The container may be formed from two mirror image parts (Figs. 8, 10-13, not shown) which may be hinged together or interlocked. The container may be divided transversely along a central radial plane (Fig. 9, not shown), the two parts being connected together by a bayonet catch. In Fig. 14 (not shown) the container consists of four dismountable parts, i.e. two casing halves which are held together in the assembled form by two end caps. The dismounted parts may be stacked for storage (Figs. 15-16, not shown).</p> |
