PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce mechanical loss caused by the frictional sliding of a vane in a slot in a displacement fluid machine such as a vane compressor. SOLUTION: The vane 54 oscillates like a fan around a shaft part 52a in a sector space formed by a partition wall 2d in a cylinder 2. The sector space is partitioned by the vane 54, and two spaces are formed. When the two spaces are used as a control pressure chamber 2a and a working chamber 2b, the fluid is pressurized by the working chamber 2b, and the pressure of the control pressure chamber 2a is varied by a control valve. Thus, an angle oscillation width of the vane 54 is varied, and the delivery capacity of the displacement fluid machine, for example used as a refrigerant compressor, can be continuously varied to 0%. When the two spaces are used as the working chambers, the capacity cannot be varied but the delivery capacity can be doubled. The sliding part is only an edge part of the vane 54, and the oscillation of the vane 54 is also stopped when the capacity is 0%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
