PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier absorbing sound in jetting vapor from a nozzle of a vapor spray tube, emitting the jetted vapor from the whole surface as fine mist while filtering it by an outer casing, and forming the condensed water in the outer casing into droplet while filtering it through a porous cloth material without dispersing it instantaneously. SOLUTION: A part provided with the nozzle 17 of the vapor spray tube 10 is disposed in the hollow cylindrical outer casing 11 composed of the porous cloth material, the vapor jetted out to the outer casing from the nozzle of the vapor spray tube is emitted into the mist while filtering it through the porous cloth material of the outer casing. A vapor receiving plate 24 is installed in a position where the vapor jetted out from the nozzle abuts on the inside of the outer casing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
