The satellite aerial alignment tool comprises a magnetic compass with a dial which displays the names of the satellites in their geographical positions. An indicator enables the aerial to be correctly aligned in order to receive signals from a chosen satellite. The device for aligning a satellite aerial comprises a magnetic compass (1) whose body (3) is provided with a fitting (5) for attachment to the aerial. The compass includes a dial which displays magnetic south, and the names of the satellites in their geographical positions. The body of the compass includes an indicator (4) with the dial moving relative to this indicator. The indicator enables the aerial to be correctly aligned in order to receive signals from a chosen satellite, by rotation in the azimuth direction. The compass dial may comprises a ball, rotating within a domed transparent cover. The top of the dome may includes a spirit level, visible through this cover, to assist with the correct horizontal positioning. |
