PURPOSE: A polishing tool for polishing a glass product of a cathode ray tube is provided to prevent a scratch on an indicative side of the glass product by improving a combination structure of polishing buttons. CONSTITUTION: A polishing tool for polishing a glass product of a cathode ray tube includes a disk-shaped support plate(33) and a plurality of polishing buttons(35). The disk-shaped support plate(33) is formed with an elastic material. The polishing buttons(35) are arranged on a surface of the disk-shaped support plate(33). The disk-shaped support plate(33) is formed with a plurality of layers. The layers of the disk-shaped support plate(33) have different degrees of elasticity. The disk-shaped support plate(33) includes a soft rubber layer and a plurality of hard rubber layers. The soft rubber layer is installed between the hard rubber layers.
