<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plastic liquefaction equipment that is capable of effectively controlling a buildup of an uncracked substance included in a cracked gas from a thermal cracking furnace on a metal plate for catalysts constituting a catalyst unit of a catalytic reaction tank. <P>SOLUTION: The cracked gas from the thermal cracking furnace is contacted with the catalyst unit 42 by allowing the cracked gas from the thermal cracking furnace to flow from the bottom to the top in the reactor tank body 40. The catalyst unit 42 is provided with a metal plate 42A for catalysts having large diameter through-hole 42a at the central part of the reactor tank body 40 and a plurality of small diameter through-holes 42b at the peripheral part formed therein, and a metal baffleplate 42B installed at the proximity of the bottom of the large diameter through-hole 42a of the metal plate 42A for catalysts. In that case, the metal plate 42A for catalysts forms in a funnel-like state inclined downward toward the large through-hole 42a. Thus, even if the uncracked substance included in the cracked gas is attached to the metal plate 42A for catalysts, it is allowed to flow down along the upper surface of the metal plate 42A for catalysts and is allowed to fall downward from the large diameter through-hole 42a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
