DISK DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give high reliability to a ball balancer type unbalance correcting mechanism by restraining the shaving and abrasion caused by the rolling and sliding of a correction ball in a disk device. SOLUTION: Hardness against the rolling and sliding of the correction ball for correcting unbalance is secured by chemically plating the inner faces of the grooves formed around the rotary shaft concentrically of a turntable. The smoothness of the inner faces of the grooves is also secured for improving the effectiveness of plating. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
