FIELD: petroleum refining industry; the method is used at the oil residuals deasphalting. SUBSTANCE: invention presents the method of regeneration of the solvent used in the petroleum refining industry at the oil residuals deasphalting. Regeneration of the solvent is carried out a stage by stage: at the first stage the solution of asphalt is heated up to temperature 80- 90 C at decreasing the pressure in a column to 2-3 MPa and at that they separate of 50-88 mass % of the dissolvent. The rest part of the dissolvent is regenerated using additional heating of the asphalt solution up to temperature of no less than 210 C and further decrease of pressure in the column of regeneration down to pressure of no less than 1.75 MPa. At that the dissolvent separated at the first stage, is used for refluxing of the regeneration column.
