FIELD: agriculture and forestry. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal fan has housing with suction windows and pressure branch pipe. Blade-type rotor mounted in housing has outer diameter smaller than width of pressure branch pipe. Each blade of fan rotor is made in the form of shevron and has uniform height. Shevron angle apex is oriented in direction opposite to rotor rotation direction. During operation of rotor, parts of shevron blades oriented at an angle to one another supply additional air flow into mid portion of housing cavity for effective equalizing of air pressure at branch pipe outlet. EFFECT: reduced sizes and weight of fan and wider operational capabilities. 2 dwg
