FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: in addition to peroral intake of furacyclin M for sick calves at the dosage of 0.7- 0.9 g/kg body weight twice daily up to clinical recovery one should intranasally introduce zoolan at the dosage of 2.0-4.0 mg/calf as 0.3%-solution twice daily for 3 d. The method enables to obtain increased percentage of recovery at shortened terms of therapy and decreased medicinal loading due to minimization of complications.
