Methods and compositions for the immobilization of glycoproteins are presented herein. In addition, the present invention provides arrays of immobilized glycoproteins. The methods of immobilizing glycoproteins include oxidation of the glycosyl moiety and the reaction of this moiety with an aminooxy functionality.
