Bubble cap tray

Plate comprises a rectangular bubble tray and has a ratio of length to width of the cap (201) of the tray of 5-50 with a liquid height on the base of the column of 0.05-1 m. Gas outlet openings (203) are in a non-uniform manner in the rectangular tray. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement of several caps on the bubble tray with the gas outlet openings of neighboring caps equally arranged with respect to the surface containing the gas outlet openings.
