METHOD FOR CALCULATING SELLING DATA IN CASH REGISTER HAVING ACCOUNT FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A method for calculating selling data in a cash register having an account function is provided to manage correctly an account memory by checking an error in a process for calculating the selling data. CONSTITUTION: Account mode data for defining an account mode are stored into a particular address of an account memory(S106). A calculation counter having an increment of 1 is defined in a RAM whenever a calculation process is completed after the account mode is defined. An address region of the account memory is defined by using the calculation counter whenever the calculation data are recorded. A recording state of the address region of the account memory corresponding to the present calculation counter is checked(S110). The present state is decided as a calculation error if the arbitrary data are recorded into the address region of the account memory(S202-S206). The corresponding calculation data are recorded into the address region of the account memory if the arbitrary data are not recorded into the address region of the account memory(S200-S212).
