PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a power unit from colliding with a curb by simple structure in a scooter type vehicle in which the front part of the power unit is supported to be rocked up and down through a link member to a car body frame having a head pipe supporting a steering handle to be freely steered at the front end, and a step floor for placing the rider's feet is disposed between a seat disposed above the power unit for putting a rider thereon and the steering handle. SOLUTION: A guard member 54 projected downward below a link member 46 is fixed to a link member 46 connecting a frame member 25 disposed below the rear end of the step floor to constitute a part of the car body frame 25 and a support member 42 provided on the lower part of the power unit.
