<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material to be recorded which satisfies required various characteristics, and especially has a photograph-like lustrous property, and for which viscosity of a coating liquid for forming an image receiving layer is not increased and stable with time. <P>SOLUTION: In a sheet for inkjet recording provided with a coloring material receiving layer on a substrate, the coloring material receiving layer is a layer prepared by coating the substrate with a coating liquid comprising at least fine particles, a water-soluble resin, a crosslinking agent and a viscosity stabilizer, and curing by crosslinking it. The curing by crosslinking is performed by providing a basic solution with a pH of ≥8 on the coating layer or the coating film either (1) at the same time when the coating liquid is applied or (2) at the time when the coating liquid is applied and the formed coating layer is in the midway of drying before the coating layer exhibits falling rate drying. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
