PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity and strength of a folding container and prevent the twist and deformation of the folding container in a state that it is assembled into a box-shape. SOLUTION: The container comprises a bottom 1, side walls 3 which are connected to a pair of the sides of the bottom opposite to each other via hinges, respectively, and are folded down first when folding the box-shaped assembled container, and side walls 2 which are connected to the other pair of the sides of the bottom opposite to each other via hinges, respectively, and are folded down later when folding the container. Each side wall 3 to be folded first comprises an upper short side wall portion 3a and a lower short side wall portion 3b. Both side wall portions are coupled together via hinges, and the upper short side wall portion 3a is set almost horizontal inside the box-shaped assembled container. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
