PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester satisfactory carrying out a manual feed threshing work as possible. SOLUTION: The combine harvester is provided with a feed-chain clutch that freely changes a feed-chain 6 in driving state and stopping state, a controlling means controlling the action of the feed-chain clutch and a manual operating drive commanding means 31 which commands the feed-chain 6 change over to driving state, set as manually operable from outside of the body, changes the feed-chain clutch to stopping state after satisfying the stopping condition, and changes over the feed-chain clutch to driving state after commanding to change to the driving state by the driving commanding means 31 when the feed-chain clutch is in the state of stopping.
