<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel molding apparatus capable of simply molding a paper tray of which the upper surface is opened at a low cost, by rapidly performing the bending and adhesion of required places of one paper base material, and to provide a novel paper tray having a triangular or pentagonal shape. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of molding using a male mold member 2 and a molding space 13, the paper base material 100 is bent so that side surfaces 103 come into contact with the upper edge surfaces 13a of the molding space to be erected from the respective sides 102 of a bottom surface 101, and respective connection pieces 105 are inserted in an insertion space 14 and subsequently folded along the outer surfaces of the side surfaces 103 while guided by bent surfaces 105. Then, the bent connection pieces 105 pass through the insertion space 14 to come into slide contact with the inner surfaces of the molding space 13 to be pressed to the male mold member 2 to be bonded to the outer surfaces of the corresponding side surfaces 103. By this constitution, the required places of the paper base material 100 are bent and bonded only by one process work due to the falling of the male mold member 2 to mold the upwardly opened triangular paper tray B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
