<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for separating a blood which can measure an amount (weight) of an erythrocyte as a blood product in a master bag and which can easily find whether the erythrocyte is excessive or insufficient as the product or not. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for separating the blood automatically separates blood components previously centrifugally separated and separated into a plurality of layers from the master bag into a plurality of slave bags and separates the components while the weight of the master bag is measured.
