<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell with high corrosion resistance, capable of manufacturing at a low cost, and to provide a method for manufacturing the separator, and a fuel cell using the separator for the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A metal plate 11, a clad metal plate whose surface layer is Mo, or a metal plate having a Ni-Sn diffusion layer 12 on the surface is press worked to form a gas passage, and a film comprising a mixture of polyamide- imide resin and carbon powder is formed on the worked metal plate to form the separator 10, and the separator 10 is assembled to a membrane-electrode assembly 20 comprising a solid polymer membrane and a catalyst carrier electrode to form the fuel cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
