PURPOSE: A method for processing patterns on a core of a light guide plate using a laser is provided to improve optical characteristics and reduce a processing time by directly and accurately processing patterns of a core without installing an extra equipment at a metallic mold. CONSTITUTION: A core of a light guide plate is mounted on a precision machine. Patterns are formed on the core by using a UV(Ultra Violet) laser, an infrared layer or a visible rays laser. In the case of using the UV laser, processing burr is not generated, so that no post processing is required. In the case of using the infrared layer or the visible rays laser, post processing is required. |
