PURPOSE: A brake apparatus of a vehicle is provided to minimize the impact of the vehicle and prevent the injury degree from getting severe by contact of a brake pedal and the lower part of the driver's body. CONSTITUTION: A brake apparatus of a vehicle comprises an air bag control unit(100) to control the operation of an air bag and a brake-driving unit(200) connected to a brake pedal(220) and controlled by the air bag control unit. The brake-driving unit comprises a power unit(210); a driving motor(230) combined to the brake pedal by a belt(231) and driven by the power unit; and a relay unit(240) interrupting the electric connection of the power unit and the driving unit according to an electric signal of the air bag control unit.
