PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver which makes a scanning process at a high speed to acquire channel-select information data and program information data of all broadcast stations, thereby reducing the scanning time. SOLUTION: Two systems of front ends 101, 102 are provided and a frequency band to be scanned is divided into two bands.
