<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which increases the transmission capacity and improves the frequency utilization efficiency and the communication quality. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication system comprises a group 2 of a plurality of originating terminals 1 which mutually transmit and receive control signals S1 to distribute and transmit radio signals, and a group 4 of a plurality of address terminals 3 which mutually transmit and receive the control signals S2 to receive the radio signals from the originating terminal group 2 approximately at the same time. The plurality of originating terminals 1 in the originating terminal group 2 distribute and transmit the signals, and the plurality of address terminals 3 in the address terminal group 4 receive the distributed signals. This realizes a MIMO transmission between the originating terminal group 2 and the address terminal group 4, and facilitates transmission of a large amount of data at a high speed.
