PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia file delivery method for delivering a multimedia file to which limit information in regenerating and processing the multimedia file delivered to a portable information terminal device is added, an information terminal device for using the file, a server device for delivering the file and a multimedia file delivery system. SOLUTION: When an instruction for regenerating or processing the multimedia file is given from an operation part 19 of a cellular phone 2, a condition deciding part 13 compares the limit information with retained information of an internal information retaining part 16 when the regenerating or processing limit information is added to the multimedia file stored by a storage part 12, and when the retained information meets the limit information, regeneration at a multimedia file regenerating part 14 and processing at a processing part 17 are performed.
