A device on a crane stand for turning a crane column 1. Between two consoles 6 on the crane stand 2, a post 5 is attached. One cylinder 7 can be set on the post 5 so that it can be shifted. This cylinder's inner part is divided into two partial chambers 8, 9 by a seal 10. Hydraulic lines 11 and 12, respectively, are connected to the cylinder's 7 two partial chambers 8, 9. Cylinder 7 is closed by means of end pieces 13, 14 which are movably installed in the cylinder's end parts. On each end piece 13, 14 is attached a chain 17 and 18, respectively, which is also attached to a fastening device 19 on the crane column 1. The chains have such limited length that the end pieces cannot slide off the cylinder 7. A transversal movement of the cylinder 7 results in the chains causing the crane column 1 to turn. <IMAGE> |
