PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone set in which voice communications and data communications are made possible in excellent communication statuses. SOLUTION: The mobile telephone set is configured separable into a radio part having an antenna 22, a radio communication part 23, and the like and a main body part 3 having transmitting-receiving parts 32 and 35, a display part 37, an operating part 33, and the like. The radio part 2 and the main body part 3 are provided with Bluetooth communication parts 21 and 31 to make possible short-distance radio connections. Thus, calling or data communications are made possible while locating the radio part 2 at a place of excellent radio wave conditions. Besides, a notebook-sized PC 4 is incorporated with a Bluetooth communication part 41 as well such that the notebook- sized PC 4 performs data communications via the radio part 2 as well and further, a control part 24 within the radio part 2 monitors a communication status and transmits information thereof to the notebook-sized PC 4 such that the communication status is managed.
