AIR CONDITIONER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: An air conditioner and a manufacturing method therefor are provided to efficiency of energy consumption of the air conditioner by calculating load of a building at preset temperature of outdoor air, and determining ratio of cooling performance of a compressor to have cooling performance identical with the calculated building load as minimum cooling performance. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner has at least two steps of cooling performance, and has building load for preset temperature of outdoor air as minimum cooling performance. The air conditioner has a compressor with at least two steps of cooling performance. The air conditioner is manufactured through the steps of: a step(S402) calculating building load at preset temperature of outdoor air between 26 deg.C and 28 deg.C for KS(Korean Standards); a step(S404) determining minimum cooling performance of the compressor to be identical with the calculated building load; and a step(S406) determining rated cooling performance of the compressor depending on the minimum cooling performance that the determined minimum cooling performance is lower than 46% of the rated cooling performance.
