<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idea extract supporting method efficiently performing extract, sorting, and arranging works for various types of ideas such as requirement selection from a VOC (Voice Of the Customer) and to provide a program therefor. <P>SOLUTION: This idea extract supporting method reads a data file collecting targeting VOCs and displays a sorting screen including a group window GW and a plurality of item windows (windows displaying the contents) IW (S101 and S102). When a prescribed operation is performed on an item in the item window IW in the sorting screen, a next level item extract screen is displayed on the sorting screen to select a next level item (S103 and S104). Sorting processings such as a change in a pertaining group of the item, a display of the contents of the group, and a change in a hierarchical structure of the group according to the screen operation of the item and the group on the sorting screen (S105-S108).
