<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera phone in which control is performed just in a controllable status, a data area in a message is effectively utilized, and image data are transmitted at low cost in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The camera phone is provided with: an incoming subaddress processing means 22 for converting incoming subaddress information for control to a control instruction when a message set with the subaddress information for control to an incoming subaddress is received, setting photographed image data to the incoming subaddress and transmitting the message; a control part 16 for controlling an imaging part 20 based upon the converted control instruction; and a battery charger detecting means 27 for detecting whether or not the imaging part 20 is placed on a battery charger 4, and when the battery charger detecting means 27 judges that the imaging part 20 is controllable, the control part 16 carries out photographing but in the other case, photographing is not performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
