<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient electronic dictionary compatibly providing a function automatically inputting a prescribed character on a new dictionary mode when changing the dictionary mode and a function of inputting a new character string from an initial screen without any special operation in the new dictionary mode. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic dictionary is provided with a memory storing a change in the dictionary mode and a means erasing the character data stored in an input buffer by responding to the character input key according to the contents of the memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
