PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image storage apparatus, which enables users to easily retrieve specified image data without complicated registration operations. SOLUTION: An image management apparatus has a communication means for communicating with a server computer that stores image data, a detection means for detecting the stored volume of image data stored in the server computer through the communication means, and a control means for controlling so as to download image data stored in the server computer according to a detection result of the detection means.
